- Knob A to 4 (clockwise only).
- Buttons No-spin button, Extra economy button released.

Programme 4: wash at 40 C, rinse, softener, spin; 95 min per the table.
4. Detergent drawer
Front view, left to right. Highlighted compartments are the ones the machine takes detergent from on this programme.
The drawer pulls out towards you. Liquid detergent goes into compartment 2 right before starting; it is suitable for washes up to 60 C and programmes without prewash. Do not fill compartment 3 above the grille. To wash the drawer, pull it out and leave it under running water for a few minutes.
Tap a row to set that programme on the panel.

- Button D — Button D: removes the spin from the programme. Recommended for easily creased fabrics.
- Button E — Button E: reduces rinse water. Recommended for part loads, with a proportionally smaller amount of detergent.
- Lamp — Indicator G: lit while the machine is on.
- Power button F — Button F (positions I and O): pressing it switches the machine on and starts the chosen programme, pressing it again switches off. Choose the programme and temperature before switching on. After a water-stop, switch the machine off with this button before touching the programme knob.
- Temperature knob B — Knob B (named "programme selector knob" in the manual text by a misprint): wash temperature as in the programme table. You can set it lower than recommended or choose a cold wash (snowflake). The marks come from the programme table; MAX is taken as 90 C.
- Programme knob A — Knob A: programme selection. Turn clockwise only and only with the machine off. The rinse, softener, spin and drain symbols on the knob are chosen as separate partial programmes. The knob turns by itself during the cycle. The order of positions is taken from the programme table (page 4); the manual has no drawing of the knob.
The machine does not switch on
- The plug is not in the socket.
- There is no electricity or the mains breaker has tripped.
- The door is open: the machine cannot start with the door open.
- Button F was not pressed, or a programmed start (timer) was set, if your model has such a knob.
- The water tap is closed: the machine will not start without water.
Manual, p. 8
The machine does not fill with water
- The hose is connected incorrectly.
- The water supply in the house is shut off.
- Insufficient water pressure.
- The filter on the inlet hose is clogged.
- The inlet hose is kinked.
Manual, p. 8
The machine fills and drains at the same time
- The drain hose is too low: its end should be 60-100 cm above the floor.
- The end of the hose is under water.
- The drain has no vent pipe (siphon effect on upper floors: an anti-siphon is needed).
Manual, p. 8
Problems with draining and spinning
- The selected programme does not drain automatically: in some programmes you drain by hand.
- The water-stop mode is on.
- The drain pump is clogged.
- The drain hose is kinked or clogged.
- A blockage in the sewer.
Manual, p. 9
Heavy vibration when spinning
- The transport bolts on the back were not removed.
- The machine is not level: adjust the feet.
- Not enough gap between the machine, the wall and surrounding objects.
Manual, p. 9
Leaks
- The metal ring on the end of the inlet hose is not tight enough.
- The detergent drawer is clogged: remove it and rinse.
- The drain hose is not secured firmly.
Manual, p. 9
Too much foam
- The detergent is not suitable for machine washing (look for "for machine washing" or "for hand and machine washing").
- Too much detergent.
Manual, p. 9

Rinse regularly: pull it out and leave it under running water for a few minutes so that powder residue does not cake. The removable drawer is easy to wash under running water.
The pump is self-cleaning, but small objects (coins, buttons) can get into it. Pry off the lower front panel with a screwdriver, turn the filter cover anticlockwise, take out and clean the filter. Disconnect the machine from the mains first; a little water may run out. The panel hooks must go into their loops.
Check at least once a year. At any sign of a leak or damage replace the hose at once. Never use hoses that have been used before.
Wipe with a soft cloth and warm soapy water. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
Leave the door ajar after washing so that no unpleasant smell builds up inside. Close the tap after every wash.
Where the data comes from
- Indesit W 63 T: installation and operating manual (RU, 14 pp.), scan on McGrp, p. 1-12 брошюры (файл 4-15) (manual archive)
Assumptions
- The order of positions on the programme knob follows the order of groups in the programme table (page 4): cotton 1-4 and three symbols, synthetics 5-7 and three symbols, delicates 8, three symbols and drain. The manual has no drawing of the knob, so the angles are placeholders (evenly 20 degrees apart).
- Temperature knob: marks 0 (snowflake), 40, 50, 60 and MAX are derived from the programme table; MAX is taken as 90 C from the sentence about starting programme 1 at 90 C (page 2).
- The manual does not state the heater power; 2000 W is used from the maximum power consumption (page 9). The main-wash water volume (12 L) is an estimate.
- The manual gives no production years; the estimate is based on the design and markings.
- Step durations in the cycle are estimates from the table total; the table time does not depend on temperature, so below the maximum temperature the calculation gives less.
- The MAX mark on the temperature knob is taken as the highest heating of the programme.
Not in the manual
- The manual speaks of 15 programmes, while the table gives 18 knob positions (8 numbers, 9 symbols and drain): the discrepancy is not resolved.
- There is no drawing of the knobs and no button captions on the panel itself: D, E, F are named only by the letters of the diagram.
- The duration of partial programmes (rinse, softener, spin, drain) is not given in the table.
- It is not stated which programmes buttons D and E work with; the data allows them for 1-8.
- Water volume, heater power and per-programme maximum spin speed are not given (overall maximum 600 rpm).
Time is an estimate from the timer steps and heater power: heating 12 l of water from 15 °C to the selected temperature with a 2000 W heater. Real time depends on tap water temperature, load and mains voltage.
